Than duct tape them to your knees.
I also use them on my air hoses and near the connectors- it insulates them- they don't work so well on the plastic curly cheap hoses, though.

Stupid bus driver put on their red flashers without ever using their yellow blinkers first, like they're supposed to. Freaked out and jammed the brakes, when skidding towards the bus. Thought of all the children and locked the steering wheel in the other direction.
