I think it was in the last episode of IRT#1, Jay was travelling with Hugh and was laughing at another driver because the guy asked Jay about the road and Jay got all clever and smart-ass and told the guy the hills were so slippery he was thinking about chaining up his trailer axles, then had a great old time on the radio slagging & dissing the guy to Hugh for being a Rookie, gullible and believing his BS.

The season 1 show begins on Canadian History Channel on March 4th . I am trying to get an article published in April's Today's Trucking to ensure all Canadian trucking folks know the realitycheck version and respect to the folks that build the roads to make them safe for all those that travel them. The biggest problem I had with season 1 was that all those that watch it think for the profit of diamonds people risk their lives . The disrespect this lends to those who build and organize...

My dad told me storys when i was a kid about the ice roads first story i heard was when i was 5 yr old and seens then i have thought that must beed the best expariense ever to get in trucking ... i have been a truck dirvert for 3yr now and i would like to try out the ice road... but iknow it hard tyo find a work there..
